The following color solutions are in greatest demand:

  • blue;
  • green;
  • black;
  • White;
  • cornflower.

The most comfortable are dressing gowns with zippers. For their sewing, a dense coarse calico or fabric with a "Diagonal" rib is used. White overalls are produced for medical workers, pharmacists, and food industry employees. Dressing gowns can have different edging options.

Model "Technician", for example, has a dark blue color, and the edging is made in red.

Trade workers, loaders are offered Technolog robes, sewn from a mixed material that gives minimal shrinkage, a rich blue color scheme with bright cornflower-blue inserts on the back and in the area of the pockets. The line of the yoke is decorated with a piping that reflects the light rays. This is a cropped dressing gown with a straight silhouette, fastened with buttons. There are pockets at the bottom and one on the chest.

Most often, work gowns are sewn from thick cotton fabric. Coarse calico is usually used to make snow-white clothing, which is used in hospitals.

The density of this material is 145 g / m2.

The “Diagonal” fabric is characterized by increased density. On its surface there are characteristic relief scars. The fabric has a presentable look and is highly durable. It can have a different color scheme, robes are sewn mainly in blue and black colors. The material can serve as a basis for the production of rubberized products.

For the manufacture of work gowns also use the canvas "Greta"which is a high quality fabric. It is composed of cotton - 53% and polyester - 47%. The material is characterized by increased plasticity, resistance to deformation, has a density of 215 g / m2.

By tradition, buttons are used as fasteners on men's work coats. They can be located on the obverse and behind. Manufacturers produce overalls with a deep smell and a sash. Another component of workwear is a stand-up collar. Patch pockets are usually made voluminous: with flaps, with buttons or buttons.

Areas of use

The main purpose of work gowns is to protect against contamination in production. They are used by technicians and representatives of other professions when there is no special uniform. Dressing gowns are used in various fields, they are in demand among employees of trade enterprises, design bureaus, medical institutions.

Overalls of this type are used by:

  • laboratory assistants;
  • orderlies;
  • sellers;
  • storekeepers.

This is a versatile workwear, the main advantage of which is practicality. It comes in different styles and sizes.

Clothing requirements

Men's work gowns must comply with the requirements of GOST 12.4.132-83. They are made with a central or side fastener. A third option is also possible - with a clasp in the back.

The size of the workwear should correspond to the height and chest circumference of the worker.

Robes are worn over normal clothing to protect them from dirt, so they have a specific cut.

Work equipment should have large passes and fit freely around the body. The size of the passes varies from 5 to 12 cm.

Another significant point is the design of the sleeves, preference is given to the shirt cut. In accordance with this, the armhole is modified. At the ends of the sleeves are equipped with cuffs arranged in an elastic band that tightly wrap around the wrist.

Storage and care

Work gowns, like other workwear, require periodic cleaning and washing. They can be machine washed, as long as the temperature does not exceed 60 degrees.

Overalls do not fade and do not lose their original shape, since smooth-dyed materials are used for its production.

During washing, you can use any powder, following the instructions on the clothing label. To remove dirt from gowns intended for wearing in medical centers, it is permissible to use bleaching compounds.

Overalls are ironed in a slightly damp state, stored in closets in working locker rooms, on hangers. Men's work gowns are practical and comfortable, they have a laconic cut and allow the people who wear them to look neat. You cannot do without such workwear in industrial production.

One of its advantages is its versatility, which means that the robes can be worn at home as well.

When choosing workwear, attention is paid, first of all, to the size and color scheme. Preference should be given to non-marking colors. The dressing gown should not be too tight, comfort is the main thing in wearing it. High-quality workwear is designed for long-term use.
