How to beautifully fold a T-shirt into a closet?

In everyday life, we often encounter situations where the closet seems to be overflowing or nothing can be found in it. The solution is simple - you need to properly organize the storage space. After all, few people think that even ordinary T-shirts can be stored and folded in some other way. In fact, there are a lot of options - and at least a couple of them should definitely be taken into service.

In order for furniture for storing clothes, be it a wardrobe or a chest of drawers, to look neat inside, you must initially put things there correctly, and then adhere to the chosen system and periodically put things in order. The way the shirts are arranged depends on:

• storage locations;
• the quality of the fabric and the presence of a pattern on it.

T-shirts can be stored on shelves or in drawers. Cabinets with shelves are usually cheaper and allow you to place a huge amount of things, however, with great depths, getting what is stored in the back is rather troublesome. Drawers in this regard are more convenient, as they provide better viewing and access to content, but the smoothness, noiselessness and durability of use depends on the quality of the fittings.

In a drawer of a dresser or wardrobe, when placed horizontally, it is better to lay out the clothes in steps so that you can immediately see and remove the desired one. Drawers are great for vertical storage or the installation of special organizers, as well as low baskets.

In addition, if there are a lot of T-shirts, or maybe the whole family's belongings are stored in one place, they can be combined into piles or compartments by color, style and size. Clothes that are disassembled for the season are very easy to swap - it is enough to move warm clothes back, and light ones forward, or vice versa. All these actions allow you to arrange things compactly and beautifully, and then easily maintain order among them.

In addition to placing the clothes, they also need to be folded correctly - so that the thing is not very wrinkled after unfolding and does not stretch. T-shirts with prints deserve special attention, since it is this part of them that is the most capricious. If the design is applied over the fabric, then in places of folds or creases, it may crack.

Folding methods for babies are much easier than for adults. At the same time, they can be used by both those and others. The whole point of storing children's clothes should be reduced to ensuring that the child learns independence - he could put his things in and out himself, and also clean up the shelves and drawers assigned to him.

Recently, the Mari Kondo organization system (or as it is also called the Konmari method) has become extremely popular on parent sites. This technique is so effective that it is taught to children in preschool institutions. The principle of operation here is something like this.

• Lay the T-shirt face down on a table or bed.
• Fold the sides inward one at a time. In this case, the sleeves can be bent again, but in the other direction - so that they do not wrinkle.
• As a result, you should get a long narrow strip that needs to be rolled into a roller starting from the bottom.

The T-shirt should be pre-ironed and allowed to cool - this way it will wrinkle less as a result of all the manipulations.

Another way that a child can master is as follows.

• First, at the T-shirt, along the connecting seam, you need to fold the sleeves inward, towards each other, and straighten them well.
• Then, pulling on the side seam and holding the sleeve, the workpiece is folded in half vertically (so that the sleeves are inside).
• So that the thing does not take up much space, long things are also folded horizontally once or twice.

Of course, not everything can work out for a child at once, but it is better to start training to order as early as possible so that it becomes a habit.

The easiest way to fold men's or women's T-shirts for horizontal stacking is as simple as a variation of the children's way.

• First, the sleeves are folded towards each other, but since we are talking about large things, the side of the T-shirt is also captured. In order to be even, the main canvas can be conditionally divided into three parts in width. The sleeves must be carefully bent and straightened.
• The workpiece is divided into two, three or four parts (only already in length) and folded. As a result, you should get a neat square or rectangle.

Long sleeve shirts are folded as follows.

• Place the product with the right side facing you. Fold one sleeve in half and center with body.
• Do the same with the second side. Fold up the folded T-shirt in half or three pieces.

The fastest folding method is Japanese. In this way, you can fold an entire wardrobe in a matter of minutes. What should be done?

• Mentally define a line that divides the product in half.
• Draw a line from the middle of the shoulder (B) to the bottom of the shirt (C).
• Mark the intersection of the two lines (A).
• Then, with your right hand, grab the mark on the shoulder (B), and with your left, the place where our imaginary lines intersect (A).
• Now the left hand remains in place, and the right hand should smoothly move the point on the shoulder (B) to the lowest one (C) and bring them together. Hands must not be unhooked.
• Then the T-shirt will remain to shake and put in a pile.

Probably everyone paid attention to how neatly stacked the stacks of clothes in stores. And this is how absolutely all things look, despite their size. The store workers are helped in this by templates or inserts. A plastic liner is much more practical than a paper liner, but for a start it can be made from cardboard. In this way, you can pack the item for a gift. How to do it?

• Turn the T-shirt face down, straighten it. At the top in the center or in the part where the drawing is located, it is necessary to position the liner.
• First of all, the side parts are folded into the inner side, and then the lower... But you can do it in any convenient way.
• At the end, the folded jersey must be turned over. If the liner is near the neck, it can be gently removed.

Another device that can make life much easier and make the rows of clothes neat is folding board (also called a template). The algorithm for using it is quite simple.

Lay out the T-shirt on the unfolded board (template). Sleeves and other parts that go beyond the boundaries must be wrapped so that a kind of rectangle is obtained. Then we fold the sides one by one, and at the end - the lower part. This device can be made by hand and can be used to fold shirts, sweaters and even jeans.
